The Business Bank, a state-chartered bank, was organized on May 22, 2000, when the Minnesota Department of Commerce issued its banking charter and the FDIC issued its Certificate of Insurance. The Business Bank is an independently locally owned, community bank with one banking location at 11100 Wayzata Boulevard in Minnetonka, MN.

The Business Bank division focuses on providing a “High-touch, High-tech Banking” approach to working with businesses and their owners, executives, employees and families. The bank has earned the reputation as being a financial resource center for businesses by facilitating numerous networking, promotional, and educational opportunities.

The experts in the Prime Mortgage division of The Business Bank have been helping customers find the smart way home for over 20 years. They have earned a reputation for providing exceptional service, a wide range of program offerings, and high integrity standards. The bank has mortgage loan production offices throughout the greater Twin Cities area to serve our customers.

Combined, the business banking division and the Prime Mortgage division operate under one system of policies and procedures. Through delegation of authority from the Board of Directors, the President and the CEO of The Business Bank have the responsibility for day-to-day management and control of the Bank and the establishment of policies and procedures for the entire organization.

Teresa A. Tembreull, Founder, Shareholder, President and COO

Teresa A. Tembreull, Founder, Shareholder, President and COO, Director of the Business Bank and Business Bancorporation, Inc., earned a B.A. degree in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia College, St. Paul. Prior to founding The Business Bank in 2000, Ms. Tembreull gained 30+ years experience and expertise in consumer, commercial, and commercial real estate lending while working for two other banking organizations in the Twin Cities area. Ms. Tembreull also serves as a director for Twin Cities-Metro Certified Development Company and the Wayzata Memorial Educational Foundation, Inc., and is a member of Wayzata Rotary Club, Wayzata Chamber of Commerce (former president and board member), Twin West Chamber of Commerce, and former director of Robert Morris Associates. Ms. Tembreull has received numerous awards for business accomplishments as well as community and non-profit contributions.
